Deposits
A deposit of $500.00 of the $1,000 Basic Package price is required to reserve your date at the River School Farm. The remaining payments can be made at any time prior to ONE MONTH before your wedding/reception date. Also a $100.00 refundable cleaning deposit is due with initial $500.00 deposit. We accept cash or check only.
In the event of a cancellation, deposits will be fully refunded if within TWO WEEKS of the contract date. A 50% refund is granted for a cancellation that is at least 3 MONTHS prior to the wedding/reception date. Cancellations made within 3 MONTHS of the wedding/reception date will not be refunded.

By the very nature of using our facilities and with the practices we already have in place, along with your cooperation, you can have a green wedding. We encourage recycling materials, limiting waste, donating food scraps to our compost and chickens, and using River School Farm's eclectic dishware at your reception rather than disposables. Our facilities integrate many green technologies including:

Food - Through our catering and local food connections we can help you find the right organic and local menus to meet your needs.
Flowers - Throughout the grounds we grow beautiful native flowers and plants that can be used for unique table centerpieces or bouquets.
Alcohol and Coffee - We would be happy to provide you with a list of local brewers, coffee roasters and wine/alcohol distributors.
River School Farm also has an indoor studio that can accommodate approximately 50 people
